Sorpresa della conferenza E3 di Ubisoft, questo gioco è uno sparatutto in terza persona in stile open world sviluppato da Ubisoft Massive Entertainment.
Sarà ambientato in un'America devastata da un'epidemia virale trasmessa attraverso le banconote durante il Black Friday (giorno degli acquisti natalizi) a cui seguiranno il crollo del mercato azionario e la perdita di elettricità.
Noi impersoneremo un membro della Divisione (The Division), un'organizzazione che ha l'obiettivo di migliorare le sorti degli Stati Uniti prima che la situazione diventi irrecuperabile.
Il trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWJD8DMasCU) è stato visto per la prima volta all'E3 in onore del primo giorno (10 giugno) e mostra la situazione degli Stati Uniti nel periodo in cui il gioco è ambientato e qualche minuto di gameplay.
Il rilascio è fissato per il 2014 per Playstation 4 e Xbox One.
Ubisoft mi ha davvero sorpreso con questo gioco "tirato fuori dal cilindro".
Ancora si sa poco: l'idea è davvero particolare ma è molto delicata e basta poco per rovinarla. Sottolineo ancora che l'idea è originale, vediamo come si evolverà.
