oggi volevo parlarvi di Lost Planet 3, un mediocre TPS sviluppato da Spark unlimited e pubblicato da Capcom il 27 agosto 2013.
Il gioco è un prequel dei capitoli precedenti (?)
Jim Peyton è stato inviato su E.D.N. III dalla Neo-Venus Construction nel periodo di colonizzazione e deve portare a termine incarichi pericolosi per guadagnare più soldi possibili per la sua famiglia.
Presto scoprirà perché quel posto era deserto: violente tempeste turbano il pianeta, che oltretutto è abitato da razze aliene.
Il clima freddo rende l'equipaggiamento inutilizzabile, mantenendo le probabilità di congelamento elevate.
La storia è ricca di potenziale, ma il team di Spark l'ha sviluppata malissimo, trasformandola in qualcosa che è passato troppe volte dalle nostre orecchie.
Lo shooting è abbastanza brutto e l'equipaggiamento non convince molto perché formato da armi basilari come pistole, fucili a pompa e balestre esplosive buttate lì che però non cambiano di molto la situazione.
Il team di Spark ha distrutto gli elementi buoni dei precedenti capitoli trasforando un TPS di fascia media in qualcosa di orribile.
Riguardo il comparto tecnico non c'è molto da dire, tutto abbastanza buono, sia la grafica che il sonoro... qualche rumore di sottofondo nel doppiaggio ma nulla di più.

Sent on the planet E.D.N. III by the Neo-Venus Construction during colonization, Jim Peyton has to take dangerous jobs to earn the most money.
Money which then he's got to send to Earth, to his family.
He will soon discover that there was a reason why that place was deserted: severe storms disturb the frozen surface of the planet, inhabited by strange alien races as numerous as mortals. Not even the weather is the best: harsh as never before, often makes the equipment unusable, while maintaining the high possibility of freezing. Jim will face unexpected and dangerous situations, all for his family.

The campaign could be better exploited because it's full of potential, but the development has transformed it into something that now has passed too many times through our ears.
The shooting system is quite poor, the weapons are not surprising because basic (pistols, shotguns and some explosive crossbow ...).
Instead of exploiting the potential of the good elements of their predecessors, the guys at Spark have burned them, turning a mid-level tps in one of the worst games that I ever played, if you save the graphics, egregious, the excellent facial animations and the sound, which is also very nice.
